How do I cancel my CookBook subscription with Stripe?

Quick answer: Open Side menu ☰ → Username → Manage plan → Manage plan button, which launches the Stripe billing portal. Tap Cancel plan, confirm, and you will not be charged again after the current period (or 14-day trial) ends.

Important to know!

  • 14-day trial: Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends to avoid the first yearly charge.
  • Renewals: Cancel 24 hours before your next billing date to stop auto-renew.
  • Deleting the app or your CookBook account does not cancel the subscription.
  • No refunds or pro-rated credits are issued when you cancel. You keep full access until the current paid period ends.
  • You can resubscribe anytime by choosing a new plan in the app.

Cancel via Stripe (step-by-step)

  1. Open the Side menu ☰.
  2. Tap your Username.
  3. Tap Manage plan
  4. Confirm that From shows Stripe (not Apple or Google).
  5. Tap Manage plan - CookBook opens the Stripe billing page in your browser.
  6. Tap Cancel plan.
  7. Review the notice, then tap Cancel plan again to confirm.

That’s it, your Stripe subscription will not renew.
