Does CookBook have a meal planner?

Quick answer: Yes! CookBook includes a built-in meal planner where you can drag any recipe onto a day (or multiple days), pick your serving sizes, and generate an interactive shopping list in a tap.

What you can do with the planner

  • Day, week, or month view – see your whole schedule at a glance.
  • Multiple meal slots - add breakfast, lunch, dinner (and snacks) to any day
  • Custom servings – bump portions up or down, ingredient amounts adjust automatically.
  • Daily macro calculator – shows calories, carbs, protein, and fat for one serving of each planned meal, so you can hit your nutrition targets.
  • Instant shopping list – generate a list from planned meals and get ingredients sorted by aisle.
  • Add notes or meals without a recipe – type “Leftover lasagna” or “Dinner out” right into a slot.
  • Sync everywhere – planner and shopping list update in real time on iOS, Android, and the Web App.

Where to find it

  1. Open CookBook and tap Planner in the bottom bar or left panel
  2. Use the + button to add recipes from your library onto any calendar slot.
  3. Tap a meal block to adjust servings, meal slot, or cooking date.

Tips

  • Tap the calendar icon in the top right of the meal planner to swap between daily, weekly or monthly views
  • Tap the grocery basket icon in the top left to create a grocery list from your planned meals
  • Tap the more menu icon in the top right to bulk move, copy or delete items, print your planner and change your planner settings
  • Tap the đź“… Plan icon in a recipe to slot it directly into the planner without leaving the recipe view.
